
Hey, all. Sheridan here. Remember the John August vs. ScriptShadow debate from a couple years ago? Mr. August made a very good point in that post that has stuck with me ever since: Shining a spotlight on the scripts and their screenwriters would genuinely help readers see how the words on the page were translated to the screen. That point was the very genesis of this new column: Script-to-Screen. We’ve posted a few screenplay reviews on this site, but that effectively stopped when Fox asked me to remove Matthew Klekner’s review of Deadpool. The last script review posted was my own review of Chad St. John’s Motor City (which I still contend is an absolutely brilliant script) that I
